Self Portrait
I used my Facebook profile picture and some stickers to illustrate a piece of myself. A lot of LGBT+ folk get labeled "queen" a lot, and periodically I get labeled a queen, and we're supposed to be happy go lucky people because of it, and sometimes we act all high and mighty about it. But the distortion in this picture I feel is like life, normally I am happy go lucky, but life isn't always like that. I couldn't find many pictures on native American art because I am alaskan native and whenever someone calls me queen, that maybe if western culture hadn't taken over native American life I may have actually been royalty at some point, or not, I'll never know. In a sense, I do sort of identify as a queen, in the royal sense, not as some derogatory
